Save our Girls Project

We all know that to educate a girl, provides opportunities not only for that girl, but her family, her community and her country.

We support the education of girls by paying school fees, encouraging communities to support girls' education and other innovative programs to keep girls in school.

This project focuses on educational initiatives that encourage girls to stay in school. Western Equatoria has a very high rate of female drop outs and teenage pregnancy. It is not unusual for girls as young as fourteen to be married and start having children soon after

We designed a curriculum specifically for girls in South Sudan that focuses on educating girls about their bodies, reproductive health and life skills. The curriculum has been delivered to approximately fifty girls between the ages of fourteen to nineteen. Our partner in this endeavour is the Ministry of Education in South Sudan. We are going to continue delivering this curriculum to as many girls as we can reach.
